Hon. Gail A. Andler is a Superior Court Judge in the County of Orange. Dr. James L. Doti is the President of Chapman University. Dr. John Nixon is the V.P. of Instruction for Mt. San Antonio College.
Linda Kricfalusi is the current President of the Board of Directors. She has been a volunteer with READ/Orange County since 2005. Linda also works with the FROC Recognition Activities Committee facilitating various functions throughout the year. Linda’s goal as a Board member is to increase participation with a focus on fundraising.
Linda's education and work experience began in Accounting, and her career path broadened in recent years to include managing business software implementations, and developing and delivering training to software end-users nationwide. Currently she works as an accounting consultant, and stays closer to home. Her love of reading and lifelong learning brought her to READ/OC where she enjoys the satisfaction of seeing a learner meet a personal literacy goal.
Julie Cottle is the Vice President of the Board of Directors. She is a staffing specialist with Orange County Region of Wells Fargo. She is responsible for recruiting in the North Orange County Market. A two-year veteran of the company, Cottle assumed her current role in 2006. Prior to Wells Fargo she was a talent acquisition specialist with CoreLink Staffing Services in Irvine, California. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis on management from Whittier College in Whittier, Ca. She serves on the board of the Friends of READ/OC, a non-profit organization that supports an adult literacy program. contact
Ryan Ramos is the Treasurer of the Board of Directors. He currently works for the Orange County Health Care agency, engaged in public health research and planning. Ryan has a diverse educational background, having earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Cal State Fullerton and Master’s degrees in Anthropology and Healthcare Administration. Ryan serves on the Community Advisory group for the city of Westminster. In addition, he has been on the FROC board for over a year and recently completed one year as a tutor for the READ/OC program. contact
Anne Uyeda is the Secretary of the Board of Directors. She is an attorney with the law firm of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP. Anne graduated cum laude from U.C. Irvine with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and earned her J.D. from UCLA Law School. She is a member of the State Bar of California and currently practices civil litigation." contact
Robert West is a Board Member-at Large on the Board of Directors and serves as Chair of the Resource Development Committee. He retired after 29 years in sales and marketing positions with major packaged goods companies and decided it was time for him to "give back" to the community. Bob enrolled in the READ/OC training course and was certified as a volunteer literacy tutor in September 2000. In addition to his tutoring, he offered to do the Outreach work to increase community awareness and help recruit the 100+ new tutors that are needed each year. He later accepted a part-time contract staff position as the Outreach Coordinator with the responsibility for community, business, media contact, and fundraising.
